Rob McPherson

Acting CMO, Director-elect

Rob McPherson has been elected to serve as Acting Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, pending the company’s acquisition of $1,000,000 in Director’s and Officer’s liability insurance.  He presently serves as a consultant to Aquarius with mirroring roles and responsibilities.

Mr. McPherson is a highly experienced and successful Consumer Packaged Goods, OTC Drug, Food and Spirits Brand Marketer, Strategist and General Manager, who has worked in Canada and Europe. As President of Bacardi Canada, he led all functional areas of Bacardi Canada Inc., one of the top 5 global business units of Bacardi Limited, with over 160 employees across Canada and responsibility for marketing and sales of the world’s most iconic spirits brands.

Mr. McPherson’s leadership and strategic management as President, and previously as VP of Marketing, brought Bombay Sapphire from #4 to #1 Dry Gin in Canada (with over $50M annual retail sales) and led Grey Goose to become the #3 top-growing spirit brand in the Canadian market (with over $100M in retail sales).

Prior to his roles at Bacardi, Mr. McPherson led a decade-long career at Kraft Foods Group, with notable accomplishments including that he held the largest Category Business Director portfolio of products in Canadian division (over $300M annual revenue).

As Director of Business Development at Kraft – Europe, Mr. McPherson secured $20M in capital to launch the ‘Tassimo’ in-home hot beverage system in Europe, which is now a $1B global brand. In his earlier years at Kraft, Mr. McPherson led the defense of Maxwell House and other Kraft brands against the launch of Folgers coffee into the Canadian market.

Mr. McPherson brings significant strategic planning, management, and data-driven marketing experience to Aquarius Cannabis. He will lead the research and development of Aquarius’ brands and will serve as the senior officer assisting the CEO and COO in hiring and managing the execution team.
